This was a great read. You did a really good job breaking down all the concepts from the module.
I seriously loved your summer camp example about getting campers to close their eyes to see who’s played the game before. That’s such a simple but really smart way to figure out who might need extra support, all without making anyone feel called out or too shy to ask for help. I was definitely that shy camper back in the day, so that really resonated with me!
It’s just a perfect, real-world example of what you were saying about scaffolding and teaching the actual students you have, instead of some “average learner” that doesn’t even exist. I also thought it connected really well to your point about the first aid course, especially how they blend the async and sync parts to make it more accessible. It’s cool to see how these UDL ideas can be used in so many different places.
